    Broke first time she used them

    Hi Joanne, I'm very sorry to hear this. However, I'm not entirely sure what you mean by 'broke', unless the hoop was forced too far open and therefore did not spring back to the normal shape after pressure was released. These earrings work similarly to a paperclip. They have a certain amount of spring to the metal where they can move and then return to their normal shape. Just like a paperclip, if forced too far open, the metal will deform. In this case, simply reform the earring and use as normal. Keep in mind that hoop earrings should be twisted to the side to open and place in the ear rather than pulled apart. The 5/8' size that you purchased will have less play in the metal during opening and closing the hoop than the larger sizes. Best, Andrea

    OMG!!! LOVE, LOVE , LOVE these 14k gold hoops. Best hoop earrings I've ever purchased. I wear them every day. Originally purchased the 1 inch size, but they are a little too big for every day wear, so I decided to try the 3/4 inch size and they are the perfect size! I will use the 1 inch size when going out. I would definitely recommend these hoops. Excellent quality and they do not tarnish. They are as described.
